Project To Recognize W.Va.'s Military Members

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Photos are being sought for a state project recognizing West Virginia's military members.

Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin's office says the photos will be displayed on a "Military Recognition" tree at the Capitol. The tree will be in the governor's reception room during the holiday season.

Tomblin says in a news release that the tree is a way to display gratitude to West Virginians serving in the military.

Photos can be submitted to the governor's office through Nov. 23. A form and tag can be downloaded from the governor's website, www.governor.wv.gov .

Submitted photos won't be returned. They will be kept at the Governor's Mansion.
