MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia University will remember the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks with a series of campus events starting Thursday.
The events kick off with the opening of a signing wall at the Mountainlair in Morgantown. Also planned Thursday afternoon is a post-9/11 discussion focusing on educators at Allen Hall.
Several ceremonies are scheduled on campus Sunday and Monday.
The events are being organized by the Student Government Association and WVU officials.
Chris Gray, who played quarterback at WVU from 1987-1991, and James K. Samuel Jr., a WVU economics graduate, were killed in the attack on the World Trade Center's north tower in New York City.
