CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Social service agencies throughout West Virginia will receive a $541,000 federal grant to help meet the needs of hungry and homeless people.
U.S. Sens. Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin and Congressman Nick Rahall announced the funding Friday from the Federal Emergency Management Agency's emergency food and shelter program.
Funding will be provided for agencies in 43 counties.
