CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - A reference guide on West Virginia government and officials can now be viewed online.
State Senate President Jeff Kessler said Friday that the West Virginia Blue Book is available for the first time on the Legislature's website.
The Blue Book was first published in 1916. It gives details on officials in the executive, legislative and judicial branches, along with federal officers, political leaders and state and federal agencies.
It also includes statistics on counties, municipalities and statewide organizations as well as information on the state and federal constitutions.
The Blue Book is published every year by the Senate clerk's office.
