CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia officials say voters who wish to cast ballots in May's primary election have until a few more weeks to register or make any changes to their registrations.

Early voting for the May 8 primary is scheduled for April 25 to May 5.

West Virginians can register to vote until April 17.

Randolph County Clerk Brenda Wiseman tells The Inter-Mountain that first-time registrants need to present a state photo identification or a driver's license.

The writer of this article say those wanting to vote "MUST" register by April 17?? "Should" implies that if they don't, they can still vote anyways. IT'S A LAW to be registered by then.....there's no "should" about it!!
