CINCINNATI (AP) - An Ohio woman has pleaded guilty in the killing of a woman found covered in burns and wailing in agony on the side of a rural road.
Muskingum County Prosecutor Mike Haddox said Wednesday his office offered Katrina Marie Culberson the agreement in exchange for her testimony against two others charged in the killing of 29-year-old Celeste Fronsman of Canton.
A driver found Fronsman on a road northeast of Zanesville in eastern Ohio last month. She had been raped and burned and had a strap around her neck. She died two days later at a Columbus hospital.
As part of a plea agreement that will allow her to avoid the death penalty, Culberson pleaded guilty Wednesday to one count each of aggravated murder, kidnapping and aggravated arson.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A severely burned woman has died two days after being found naked and with a rope around her neck along a road in a heavily wooded area of eastern Ohio.
Muskingum County Sheriff Matt Lutz says Columbus hospital reported 29-year-old Celeste Fronsman died Tuesday. The Canton area resident had suffered burns over most of her body.
An autopsy is planned.
A passing motorist spotted the woman Sunday northeast of Zanesville, 60 miles from Canton. He told a 911 dispatcher the woman had been raped, beaten and burned. Moaning or crying can be heard in the background of the recorded call.
The sheriff says investigators found a crime scene in woods near where the woman was spotted. He says investigators have identified several people of interest in the case.
