Scheduled Water Outage For Warren Community

A planned water outage for the Warren community is scheduled for April 6th between the hours of 8:00am and 2:00pm. Bill Signed Into Law Prohibiting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Bonuses

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Obama today signed into law the STOCK ACT which included an amendment by Senators Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) and John McCain (R-AZ) prohibiting Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac executives from receiving future multi-million dollar bonuses as long as the government-backed mortgage companies remain in federal conservatorship. It was reported that the Federal Housing Finance Agency last year approved $12.8 million in bonuses to ten top Fannie and Freddie executives.

DMV to Open New Regional Office in Parkersburg in 2012

CHARLESTON, W.Va.-The West Virginia Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is planning to open a new, permanent Regional Office location in Parkersburg by late summer 2012. The structure will be built on Division of Highways’ property adjacent to the Eagles building located at 627 Lubeck Avenue. The construction contract on the 9,000 square foot building should be awarded in March, 2012.
