One well known local organization held an annual dinner and auction Friday night at the Marietta Shrine Club.
The Washington County Habitat for Humanity held the event to honor the late Paul Callihan.
A silent auction was held where people signed up and made their bids on various items.
Cowboy Concessions catered the dinner.
Members of the Habitat for Humanity says the dinner and auction is a great time to bring the community together.
"It's definitely something we look forward to every year because we invite some of our partner families here and they get to socialize a little bit with all of the donors that help us out quite a bit through the year," says Dennis Thomas of the Washington County Habitat for Humanity.
All proceeds from the dinner and auction will help Habitat for Humanity members continue to build houses for families in Washington County.
