Attorney General Morrisey Visits St. Marys

West Virginia's Attorney General pays a visit to St. Marys Thursday night.

Attorney General Patrick Morrisey held a Town Hall Meeting to discuss protecting West Virginians from federal overage.

The large crowd gathered at the Pleasants County Library voicing their opinions on important issues regarding the area's businesses' economy

Discussed were the barriers to economic growth and challenges owners face with expansion.

"Tonight was very interesting for a number of reasons, we had a lot of young people there tonight and they were asking some very good questions in terms of the future of West Virginia and how we can help the state economically. I think there's a lot of people that is scared about their future," says Attorney General Morrisey.

The Town Hall Meeting is part of the Attorney General's statewide listening tour.

So far, Morrisey has has hosted over 22 town meetings throughout the state.

He also made an appearance in Ritchie County Thursday night.
