The Boys and Girls Club of Washington County made a big difference for something many people just drive by.
The kids took time out of their day cleaning tombstones at Harmar Cemetery Friday afternoon.
They were scrubbing off dirt and brushing grass off many of the graves.
A great way for them to give back to a community.
"It definitely shows the community is supportive of not only the history but also their local cemeteries, helping them be preserved for future generations," says The Castle Education Director, Misti Spillman.
The Boys and Girls Club will be cleaning up the tombstones again at Mound Cemetery Saturday from 9am to Noon.
