Sunday, one Elizabeth family gets some much needed help after losing a newborn.
The Rock N' Paws and Friends of Parkersburg held a spaghetti dinner benefit to help Shaun Enoch and Connie Cunningham with medical and travel expenses for their son, Chase.
Chase died on October 15th, just three weeks after his birth.
He was a victim of Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis, a rare blood disease.
Sunday, friends and family came out to eat and remember a child who left us far too soon.
"I think it's awesome that people in our community could come out and do this and raise money for a cause for something so tragic and our family rally appreciates it and you know, we couldn't ask for anything else," says Chase's Father, Shaun.
A raffle drawing was also held at the fundraiser.
The benefit raised over $200.
