The Scottish and Celtic Heritage Society held its third annual Heritage Festival at the Parkersburg City Park Pavilion Saturday morning.
The festival honors the Scottish and Celtic traditions.
Family plaids and jewelry help people learn a thing or two about both cultures.
The festival also had Scottish and Celtic art displays, t-shirts and live entertainment.
It's a great way for everyone to familiarize themselves with their heritage.
"I think it's very important that all of the people learn to understand what their heritage is, where they come from. Not only just Scottish but all the other nationalities also," says Scottish and Celtic Heritage Society Board Member, John Dye.
The festival also featured Scottish clan exhibits, games for the kids and help with ancestry and genealogy.
