FAIRMONT, W.Va. (AP) - Contract talks are underway in West Virginia between Frontier Communications and the Communications Workers of America.
The existing contract covering 1,600 workers in West Virginia expires Aug. 2 at midnight.
The union is planning rallies on Saturday in Fairmont and on July 27 in Charleston.
Frontier senior vice president Dana Waldo tells WBOY-TV (http://bit.ly/12yZmIS ) that the company will bargain in good faith.
