Power to Athens and Washington Counties has been restored.

Across the river, First Energy Mon Power reports 15 Wood County customers still without electricity.

In Wirt, 36 customers don't have power.

In Jackson County, 153 are still in the dark.

Pleasants County has less than five customers without electricity.

Finally, Ritchie County now has 657 customers in the dark.

No estimate as to when power will be back.

In Ohio, AEP reports 131 customers without power.

Power to Athens County has been restored.

Across the river, First Energy Mon Power reports 40 Wood County customers still without electricity.

In Wirt, 78 customers don't have power.

In Jackson County, 374 are still in the dark.

Pleasants County has less than five customers without electricity.

Finally, Ritchie County now has 2,026 customers in the dark.

No estimate as to when power will be back.

According to the AEP website, power has been restored to all customers in Athens Co.

According to AEP Ohio, nearly 500 of its Washington County customers are in the dark.

The company has at least 210 customers in Athens County without power.

During power outages, the company recommends unplugging major appliances to protect them from a power surge when power comes back on.

Also, leave a light on so you know when power is restored.
