A local historian and author was in Marietta Sunday to give a special presentation on his latest book.
Dozens of history buffs came together at the Campus Martius and Ohio River Museum Sunday afternoon to listen to Gary Williams speak about some of the area's history.
Williams took the time to tell some stories from his book, "Spies, Scoundrels and Rogues of the Ohio Frontier."
"It's kind of the story of America's first westward establishment, and how it remained to be questioned of whether or not it was gonna be part of America or not," Williams said.
This is Williams' fourth book.
