Madison, WV (AP) -- Jesco White, the "Dancing Outlaw" featured in multiple documentary films, has been cleared of drug charges by a Boone County magistrate.
White, 52, was arrested in April and charged with conspiracy to purchase a controlled substance.
This week, magistrate Porter Snodgrass ruled there was insufficient evidence against the famed mountain dancer, and dismissed the charges.
White's lawyer, Joel Baker, says his client is happy to have his name cleared of the charges.
White and his family are the subjects of a new documentary film, "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia," which was bankrolled by the creators of the MTV show "Jackass."
