Charleston, W.Va. (AP) -- The body of a 14-year-old boy who drowned in the Kanawha River last week has been found.
Cody Priestley, a student at Hurricane Middle School, went swimming in the river at a spot between Eleanor and Buffalo.
Bystanders saw him go under the water, but didn't see him come up.
A Putnam County emergency dispatcher says Priestley's body was recovered Monday evening.
Rescue crews had been dragging the river since Friday.
