Detroit (AP) -- A coroner says autopsy results are pending on the bodies of three runners who collapsed and died during the annual Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Marathon.

The Wayne County Medical Examiner's Office says autopsies were performed Monday.

Toxicology reports are being requested.

Officials say 36-year-old Daniel Langdon and 65-year-old Rick Brown collapsed toward the end of the 13.1-mile half-marathon Sunday, while 26-year-old Jonathan Fenlon collapsed just after crossing the finish line.

Relatives and friends say the men had no known serious health problems.

Brown, of Marietta, Ohio, twice participated in full 26.2-mile marathons in Detroit.

Langdon had run half-marathons before. Fenlon had run shorter races than a half-marathon.

UPDATED MONDAY 12:25 A.M.

One of the three runners who died during the Detroit Free Press/Flagstar Marathon Sunday was from Marietta.

A race official said Rick Brown of Marietta died Sunday morning while running the half marathon in Detroit.

Rich Harshbarger of the Detroit Media Partnership said the 65-year old was one of three men who collapsed at different times between 9:02 a.m. and 9:18 a.m.

The other two men were from Michigan.

According to Harshbarger, Brown collapsed close to where one of the other men fell down in the final mile to mile and a half of the race.

Harshbarger said each man is believed to have died from cardiac arrest.

He said the deaths are unrelated.

Brown was part of the River City Runners and Walkers Club.

A group of members, including Rick's wife Vivian, ran the race.

The president of the club said Rick was an avid runner and ran more races than anyone else in the area.
