Lebanon, Ohio (AP) -- Authorities in Ohio are investigating the cause of a house fire that killed three people.
No details were released on the victims. Autopsy results are pending.
Fire officials in Lebanon said Monday the wood frame home was more than 100 years old and only a smoldering shell was left.
The state fire marshal's office is investigating the blaze.
Authorities later corrected their initial report from the scene that the house had been condemned for demolition.
Lebanon fire chief Michael Hannigan says the fire had made substantial headway by the time firefighters got the first calls at around 2:30 a.m.
