Munich (AP) -- The lawyer for retired Ohio autoworker John Demjanjuk is accusing a german court of bias.

Demjanjuk is being tried on charges of being an accessory to the murder of almost 28,000 Jews at a Nazi death camp.

Prosecutors say he served as a guard at the camp in Poland.

His attorney says Demjanjuk is facing punishment that wasn't given to Germans who ran the camp.

Eighty-nine-year-old Demjanjuk, whose family says he's terminally ill, was in a wheelchair when he arrived at a Munich court today.

A top Nazi-hunter says Demjanjuk is trying to appear as sick and as frail as possible.

Demjanjuk has been in custody in Germany since he was deported from the Cleveland area in May. He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
