Forty-one gingerbread houses are set up around the Lafayette Hotel in Marietta showcasing elaborate creations made of gum drops, bubble gum, and icing.
Saturday the winners of this annual contest were unveiled.
First place in the professional division went to a gingerbread house with a Japanese theme that was created by Sue Evans.
Second place went to Donna Rorabaugh who designed a display depicting a bird cage and third place went to Alma Dotson who recreated the house featured in the movie "Up."
The gingerbread houses will be on display at the hotel until Jan. 4.
