Getting a taste of what the city has to offer.
"I don't think I've ever been to anything that has this many people. This is the first time I've ever been to Taste of Parkersburg, but I really like it. It's fun," said Alex Snider, Blennerhassett Hotel employee.
The ninth annual Taste of Parkersburg drew thousands from home and across the region.
"I love it. There's all these people out. There's so much to do if you just give it a chance," said Dena DiRocco, who came from Akron.
For the past two years, Downtown PKB has organized the non-profit event. Organizers say the 18-dollar ticket price goes toward a night to remember, and locals are taking it all in.
"It's a great opportunity for people to get together and enjoy some of the wonderful places that Parkersburg has to eat and have some nice drinks," said Crystal Southall of Parkersburg.
25-wine and beer vendors and 16-restaurants, a little something for everyone.
"All the food looks and smells delicious," said Snider.
"The Net has some really nice beer there and Five Star Catering has some wonderful desserts," said Southall.
"So far my favorite food has been the fish tacos from Tampico and I love the Riesling," said DiRocco.
