On the ground-and in the air: planes of all kinds will be on display next month at the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport.
The biennial air show is set for Sunday, October 14th, and will feature vintage and modern aircrafts, and other types of airborne entertainment.
Organizers say, in spite of concerns about budget cuts, military planes will be on hand.
"Sponsors are pretty much drained for the year, so that comes into play," says co-director Donna Rusche. "But as a community, they definitely support us. Every step, every door we knock on, people are just excited about the air show."
While the event is free to the public, the air show will be seeking donations at the gate to ensure its financial future.
Over the past decade, it's been held every two years.
