They protect our rights and freedom everyday.
Attorney Jan Dils honored them with a Veterans Day kickoff cookout.
Army National Guard Sgt. 1st Class Bradley Maston says it means a lot that Dils and her staff take time out to give back to the veterans and recognize all they do to take care of the country.
"It really lets the people know that they're appreciated," Maston says. "Too often than not they're not told that they're appreciated for what they do and I can't say enough for them; it's a great opportunity."
He says it's wonderful to be respected for their service and when Dils has another event like Friday's cookout, vets should stop by to connect with each other.
