The Healthcare Authority has approved a rate hike for 15 West Virginia hospitals.
Camden Clark is among them.
The increase affects those with private insurance and people who pay out of pocket.
Staying at Camden Clark just got more expensive... an $18,000 plus stay in 2012 is now more than $19,000 in 2013.
A statement from Tim Brunicardi, Camden Clark's marketing and public affairs director is as follows:
"The Health Care Authority compares costs and charges of similar types of hospitals in the state and approved our requested increase based on that criteria. Camden Clark made a routine request of a 4.74 percent increase."
