Learning all about the Civil War.
Around 1,200 kids from Ohio and West Virginia enjoyed the 4th Annual Blue and Gray Days Friday at the St Marys Marina.
People in period costume were part of the fifteen stations where the students were able to learn about "living history".
Blue and Gray Days extends through the weekend with many events, including a bank robbery downtown Saturday afternoon and a battle on Sunday.
"This has always been a dream of mine where I could bring the community, the kids from the community and bring them together where they can learn about this stuff," says John Haddox, Blue and Gray Days Assistant Coordinator. "I think everyone has a good time, and to me it's keeping history alive. That's our main goal."
With events going on all weekend, you can check them out down at the St. Marys Marina.
