It's a new alert concerning law enforcement officers, Ohio Blue Alert and it will be put in place to get help from you.
The Ohio AMBER Alert Steering Committee says the new alert will be used in the event of a missing law enforcement officer or tragedy involving a critically injured or killed law enforcement officer when suspects still are still on the run.
The alert will be issued in hopes of finding the suspect or missing officer.
A statewide test will be conducted June 1, 2012 at ten in the morning when the system is activated.
