The City of Marietta cancels the boil water advisory that was issued earlier this week for more than 500 connections.
A Boil Water Advisory was issued in Marietta Wednesday due to an interruption in power at the water treatment plant.
The Water Treatment and Distribution Department says customers residing on Cisler Drive, Hillcrest Drive, Gibbons Street, Glendale Ext., Hillside Way, Glendale Road, Dun-Wrentin Road, Cullen Road, Hadley Lane, Upper Norwood and anyone else living near those areas lost water pressure over night.
The Boil Water Advisory will be in effect until further notice.
The advisory impacts more than 500 connections.
