The driver, 24-year-old Brandon Kendall, is in stable condition at Marietta Memorial Hospital.

He faces charges of OVI, driving under suspension, and failure to control.

Marietta Police suspect speed was a factor in the accident Sunday afternoon that sent the driver to the hospital. They also say the driver may have been under the influence at the time of the crash.

The driver of the 1989 Toyota Camry first hit the curb, then ran into a parked truck, before hitting a tree and flipping the car into the yard of the home at 618 Front Street.

He landed in the yard of Carol O'Grady. O'Grady says no one was home at the time of the accident, but the front yard and fence were damaged in the crash.
