Parkersburg Police are investigating a breaking and entering at a church.

They need your help finding who did it.

Police say it happened at First Lutheran Church on 19th Street sometime over the weekend.

Officers were dispatched to the church at 7:30 Sunday morning.

They discovered $10,000 worth of religious items had been taken from a storage room.

There were no signs of forced entry and no damage to the church.

Later Sunday, 19th Street Meat Market employees found some of the stolen items inside a pink backpack in a dumpster.

But there is stuff still missing.
