So have you seen it yet?
A social media take over - people getting drenched with cold water.
It is called the Cold Water Challenge and firefighters in our area are catching on.
It is all for a good cause, benefiting the Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
We've heard of firefighters from across the valley - Newport, Eastwood, Barlow, Ravenswood, Parkersburg and Williamstown - just to name a few.
Participating in the Cold Water Challenge typically through social media sites, firefighters will post a video of themselves being somehow drenched in water then challenging a fellow firefighter or anyone they choose to do the same.
But it comes with a price tag.
"If you've been challenged to the Cold Water Challenge and you accept the challenge, you pay $10 to the Fallen Firefighters Foundation and if you don't accept the challenge, you pay $100," says Simon Knotts. "Firefighters who have passed and fallen in the line of duty, to help their families out, their kids get scholarships and it's just a really good cause."
Our Facebook has recently been flooded with firefighters and families participating in the challenge.
In the past week alone the Fallen Firefighters Foundation has received hundreds of donations with more coming in daily.
