UPDATE 11/26/2013 11:20 AM

Big questions from the community Monday as state representative David McKinley made a stop in Williamstown.

Dozens showed up to meet with the congressman, giving many the opportunity to ask questions and learn a little more about what is going on.

Both local and national issues were discussed, but the big issue of the night was about the Affordable Care Act and the differences in Congress.

"Instead of correcting it, we're just passing it, pushing it down the road and we're trying to correct it," says McKinley.

Representative McKinley also asked for feedback and suggestions from those in attendance about the issues.

First District Congressman David McKinley holds a town hall meeting in Williamstown Monday.

He wants your feedback on two big topics.

Congressman McKinley says he wants to hear how people feel about the cracker plant that could be coming to Wood County - something he calls "a game changer".

He says he also wants to hear about how the Affordable Care Act is impacting people and what changes they want to see.

"They're going to fix the website. That's not going to be the problem. That's just today's problem," he says. "We have to look at, long term, what effect does this health care have on our economy. Remember it was promised you would be able to keep your health insurance, you'd be able to keep your doctors and the premiums were going to go down. Well we found out that that wasn't accurate."

The meeting is at 7 p.m. Monday at the Williamstown Town Hall on West Fifth Street.

Doors open at 6:30.
