When it comes to life threatening diseases it can be hard to find a silver lining.
But one family is trying.
The 14th annual Dave Couch Golf Tournament tee'd off in Parkersburg Friday.
It's a fight against neuromuscular diseases like Couch's affliction, ALS.
The tournament raises money for ALS research and to make life a little better for those still suffering.
This year the Parkersburg South girls' basketball team pitched in.
They raised about $3,000 in honor of their late coach Larry Edwards.
