An artifact identification clinic, lectures and flint knapping demonstrations are all part of the Digging Up The Past Archaeology Day at the Campus Martius Museum.
There will also be private collections of historic and prehistoric artifacts on display at the museum for the day.
Contemporary items will be available for purchase.
It's being held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. January 18 at the museum on Second Street in Marietta.
It's free for members, $7 for adults, $4 for students and free for children 5 and under.
