The Washington County Fairgrounds building transformed into a high fashion runway.
It's all for the annual dog show benefitting the Blennerhassett Kennel Club.
Hundreds of dogs and their owners come to vie for the title. The pooches get prim and proper to impress the judges.
And just like people pageants all that pampering comes at a big cost.
"People have to pay for hotel rooms for however many days they're entered and then gas. Plus they have to pay the entry fee for the dog. So you know it gets rather expensive. It's not a cheap hobby," says Chairman of the Blennerhassett Kennel Club Joyce Fortney.
The competition continues into Sunday when the dogs will compete for best in show.
