A car crash in Marietta Friday sends four high school students to the hospital.
Around 12:30 Friday afternoon, Marietta Police say a Ford Taurus pulled out of Academy Drive to take a left on Colegate Drive, when a Ford F-150 hit them and the Taurus did a 180.
Police say four students in the Taurus were taken to the hospital.
One was taken by ambulance; the others by friends or family.
Police say all were non-life threatening injuries.
The F-150 driver - 61-year-old Karen Eddy of Holland, Ohio and her passenger, 85-year-old Cecil Cline were not injured.
Both cars were towed from the scene.
Marietta police say this happened during the students lunch hour and for safety reasons, police say this is an example why the students should have closed lunches
Police say the Ford Taurus will be cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
