The corner of Third and Marion Streets in Marietta will have a whole new look over the next couple of days.
The old building that stood there since the 1900s is being completely taken down.
St. Mary's school bought the property for green space and parking.
The building did have five apartments and two businesses over the years that changed to everything from book stores to beauty parlors.
"We are saving all the bricks, the metal we are recycling, the carbon goes to a garbage landfill and the demolition debris goes to a demolition debris landfill," says Ken Strahler.
Ken Strahler Mansonry, Inc. was hired by St Mary's for the demolition of the building.
Stahler says they should have everything out of the area by Saturday.
