Accused of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from her family, a Jackson County woman now faces embezzlement charges.
The criminal complain states Delores Freshour had stolen money from her father and two brothers for years.
Investigators say it started in 2009 when Freshour was made power of attorney over her father.
He died last year.
During that time officials say the 61-year-old wrote herself nearly 200 checks totaling over $130,000 as well as stole over $40,000 from his safety deposit box.
In addition, the brothers say they wrote tens of thousands of dollars worth of checks to help pay for their father's care, but those checks were never accounted for.
In total, the Kenna woman is accused of embezzling over $200,000.
