Museum educators partner with the Washington County Public Library to bring curriculum to kids. And they're doing it in a fun way.

To learn about the expedition of Lewis and Clark. Kids were sent on a hunt around the museum, and then created a map of their journey.

"We do a mixture of things to keep them involved so they're not just sitting and listening to a lecture. They're listening to stories, but they're also actively engaged in the activity. So it's a lot of fun. We enjoy it and they seem to enjoy it too," says museum educator Glenna Hoff

A similar colonial event is set for June. Call the Campus Martius Museum or the Washington County Public Library for more information.
