How does some fresh ham, bacon and eggs sound this weekend?
Going on Friday at the Parkersburg Municipal Building was the 66th annual Little Kanawha Ham, Bacon and Egg Show.
Students from the Blennerhassett FFA - made up of schools from Wood, Tyler and Doddridge Counties - began raising their own pigs back in August and do everything from processing to smoking to trimming their final product.
The only step students don't do is the butchering.
Each piece of meat is judged into different categories and the winning ham, bacon and eggs are named grand champion.
Friday at 7 an auction will begin for each product, with the money raised going back to the FFA.
Students say they look forward to this every year and enjoy the learning experience.
