Marijuana Found In Package Delivered to Marietta

Call it a surprise package, delivered to a Marietta home.

Deputies say there was more than half a pound of marijuana inside.

Saturday, the Washington County Sheriff's Office says they were called to a Robinson Hill Road home after a woman says she received an unexpected package from an unknown California sender.

Deputies say a drug canine hit it for drugs.

Inside deputies found more than 250 grams of marijuana.

The sheriff's office says they're tracing the package and continue to investigate.
