Local authorities are reporting multiple accidents overnight and this morning, including one where a driver knocked over a light pole on the highway and drove away.

At around 1:30 this morning the Wood County Sheriff's Office and Blennerhassett Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of an accident on Route 68 South, near the Ravenswood exit.

The fire department says a driver knocked over a light pole then left the scene.

Also, the Wood County 911 center reports there was a single car accident around 2:30 this morning, at Route 50 and Borland Springs Road in Deerwalk. There were no injuries.

In a third accident, a car went over the hill at Pond Creek Road and Otter Run Road near Rockport. No injuries were reported.
