BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. (AP) - Federal officials are investigating a construction worker's death in Bridgeport.
The Exponent Telegram says Beverly resident Lee Arbogast died Wednesday after falling off a ladder earlier this week at a housing development now under construction.
Bridgeport Fire Capt. Phil Hart says Arbogast later succumbed to the head injury at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Arbogast worked for Residential Creations.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating but spokeswoman Joanna Hawkins said Thursday the company does not have a history of OSHA violations in West Virginia.
OSHA has six months to finish its investigation.
