WHEELING, W.V. (AP) - Several new displays await visitors to the annual Winter Festival of Lights at Wheeling's Oglebay Park.
The display kicked off Thursday and runs through Jan. 8. The Intelligencer and Wheeling News Register reports it can be viewed until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Three displays were shown in the festival's first year in 1985. Now there are 75. The new ones include a Ferris wheel, snowball-chasing sledders, a Conestoga wagon and two dinosaurs added to an existing prehistoric display.
The 6-mile driving tour offers views of displays spread across 300 acres.
