Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine stops in Marietta to tour the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County.
DeWine met with the kids, got them off the bus and enjoyed snack time.
Earlier this year he announced a $4.35 million grant for the Ohio Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs.
This will help with expanding, building new Boys and Girls Clubs throughout the state and making the overall experience even better for the kids.
Thursday he also met with owners at the Marietta club to talk about how to spend this money and where it will be best used throughout the facility.
DeWine says the Boys and Girls Club is an important organization where families in need can send their kids and it's a very important organization to have in Ohio.
It touches close to his home, with DeWine himself having many children and grandchildren.
