One person is sent to the hospital after a car and bicycle collide Wednesday afternoon.

Parkersburg Police say it happened just before 4:45 pm on Rosemar and College Parkway.

Investigators say a 2001 Kia Rio sedan was turning left onto Rosemar when he hit a bicyclist riding in the berm.

Witnesses say the car struck the bike's back tire.

The bicyclist, 19-year-old Bryce Leasher, was taken to Camden Clark Medical Center with minor injuries.

Police say Leasher's cited, as he wasn't riding in the correct lane.

No charges have been filed.
