As PHS works to get enough funds to complete repairs on their stadium, football players are taking a break and heading to see an old friend.
Big Reds football players were in Cleveland Thursday, hanging out with PHS alumni, Nick Swisher.
Coach Don Reeves says they met with Nick before the game.
They gave him a "Save the Stadium T-Shirt" and took pictures with him.
Reeves says Swisher was blown away when he saw so many football players in the seats.
"Nick Swisher is always the type of person who's excited in anything he does. He was fired up because he didn't know we were bringing that many people. When he got out of the club house and saw 60 Parkersburg people wearing t-shirts, he got even more excited about that."
They also gave Swisher a football helmet which he even wore back into the Tribe dugout.
