Parkersburg City Park Pool is open for business. And lots of local pool goers were lining up to take a dip in the refreshing water.
The pool managers spent their lives competing in the pool and now work together to make sure it's safe for all swimmers.
More than 10 lifeguard are on staff with 7 watching the water at all times.
Preventing accidents means kids can have more fun.
"On a swim team you spend so much time together it's like a giant family. That's how it was for us. But it's hot and this is refreshing so if you're not doing it competitively it's fun just to come here and hang out," says pool manager Annaleise Robinson.
A day of fun in the sun comes pretty cheap. Kids get in for $3.50 while parents pay just $4.
