About seven years ago, People's Bank in Marietta started decorating its windows with holiday themed scenes.
With the help of Keith McClung their windows come to life every Christmas.
They combine old and new to make the look a success.
The animated characters have a long history of spreading holiday joy. They were originally used in the Macy's store windows in New York City back in the 1950s and '60s.
Vice President Marketing Officer Michael Balsimo says they put a lot of time every year picking a theme the community will enjoy.
"This year's concept theme is a dickens christmas. Which is very different from the last couple of years that have been a little more fun and animated so to speak. This is more vintage, classy characters in an outdoor type of theme," says Balsimo.
The holiday windows will be up until January 3rd from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
A few more scenes are on display in the People's Bank lobby during regular banking hours.
