Rock-A-Wish this Christmas and make a wish come true for local children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Staff from 95XIL, 103.1 The Bear and the Make-A-Wish Foundation spent the day Tuesday at the McLaughlin Trans Am Museum in Parkersburg, collecting donations for three Wood County children who are fighting serious illnesses.

It's all about helping the kids but there was there was much more going on there throughout the day.

People got their photo taken with Batmobiles, Batman himself and the Fred Flinstone car.

They have to raise $3,900 per child to send them on their wish trip.

Radio hosts say it may not seem like a big deal to us but to a child who battles for their life every day it means the world.

"One of these wishes get granted....they have that experience and they have the memories of that for the rest of their lives," says Chad Richards, with 103.1 The Bear. "And I think that means a lot to them in the long term scheme of things."

It was the last chance to see the Batmoblies and the Flintstones car before they go to auction.
